Through our internationally mandated programs, including specifically our annual chapter scholarship program, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. , Lambda Phi graduate chapter, has a rich heritage of service in the Macon/ Fort Valley area and communities across middle Georgia.

The mission of our annual chapter scholarship program is to provide college scholarships to Macon/Fort Valley area graduating seniors based on merit and need. Scholarship awards and amounts are decided internally by Lambda Phi chapter scholarship committee, based on package review and mandatory interviews of finalist. The chapter awards individual non-renewable scholarships.

Scholarship recipients must attend four year, accredited U.S. colleges and universities. To be considered, scholarship application & supporting documentation must be typed and postmarked by March 7th. (Online submission is NOT available)

In conjunction, with our signature general scholarship named in honor of brother Dr. D.T. Walton, Jr.,  we are offering scholarships through our partnership with the Motivational Youth Foundation, Inc. (  We are also offering memorial scholarships  in honor of brothers Dr. George Canty, Jr., Dr. Wm. D. Moorehead, Sr., Ronald McMillan, Matthew Vinson and Jesse Mays, Jr. with specific requirements for applicants majoring in the Sciences and Education and/or attending a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
Scholarship checks are mailed out during the fall academic session after submission of proof of full time enrollment by scholarship recipients.

FAQ #1
“I need my scholarship funds to go towards my current school balance so I can get fully enrolled this semester. How do I apply my funds to directly to my balance?”
Typically, our scholarships are made out directly to the student after they are fully enrolled, however, you can request that your scholarship check be sent directly to your university for deposit into your university account. The easiest & fastest way is to have your university send an invoice for the scholarship amount to our P.O. box mailing address. Or you may also, send a request to to have your check mailed directly to your university, be sure to include your Full Name, Student ID Number and University’s Payment Address.
